Well got hold of the CXPRo heli. It comes in a small box, smaller than the CXBlack Angel and smaller than the CX250 Box.
It comes well packed within its small box

What's inside the box.
Once you open the box the first thing that will be seen
is the wooden blades the flybar shaft and a CD
under are 3 smaller boxes.

Well inside each box is the SKD CX PRO kit. Similar to the Black Angel kit and the previous versions the V2 and V1
parts are semi built.
First box the largest one contains all the framework parts, Head, tail assembly, Boom and its small parts.
2nd box contains the Canopy, single skid assmebly, main gear assembly, screws, nuts and some velcro straps
3rd box contains the grease, threadlock, oil, and A-retainer.

I have checked the parts on these heli. The aluminum quality is the typical Copter X metallurgy. If you had the first batches of the original Copter X its identical to its quality. In comparison with the leader.. it will be almost as good.
The head design does resemble the TREX450 Pro. even the linkages has bearings and is identical with the TREX. the main difference is the color of anodizing. CX PRO comes in blue which has the shade similar to the TREX V1. the lighter shaded one.

how smooth is the parts. Well it is smooth and had no bindings. It must have been built with quality and class.
For the framework. first glance it resembly the TREX 450 PRO frame. Its identical in dimensions and shape the only difference is once you get to the back part of the frame the tail boom housing is a little different as it houses a belt system.

One thing i found a little different is the quality of the molded plastic for the battery tray. Unlike the ALign tray which is molded cleanly and perfectly similar to Japanese quality models like Kyosho or Tamiya. The Copter X seems to have less appealing mold chases. The molded parts has a lot of flashing and the quality of mold is not impressive.

The CF frame is quite good. The cut made on the CF frames are really good. not that sharp but a good pass of sandpaper will help it more.

The screws used on the CXPRO are quite good. it uses larger hex screws so less stripping an occur unlike the standard 1.5mm these use the next size which is the 2.0mm. similar to what CX did with there CX250 they are using on a much larger screw heads making it better and less problems with stripping.

For inserts or bearing blocks. No different with the Trex PRO it does have the same aluminum construct and dimension

Now for the tail servo holder. It still has the same TREXPRO design. You will need a 9257 or DS520 size servo for this heli. same location as the Trex-PRO the servo is bolted at the lower back of the frame.

For the Canopy. Its the first time that I have seen CPX to use a semi transparent canopy. Its not like the standard lexan bodies found on RC cars. The Canopy is a little bit brittle. Its already pre painted dark Blue with a silver lining for the window opening and a lightning look silver bottom. The window is semi transparent so the insides can be seen. Just in case you are planing on using LED's for these heli The window will surely light up nicely.

For the other parts like tail case assembly its seems to hold a tail case similar with the TREX SPORT. the blade grips have weights on it so no need for chinese modification. Another identical part with the TREX
For the boom brace they used CF Rods with aluminum ends, This is and upgrade not found on the stock TREX PRO.
almost all the parts are interchangeable with the T-PRO the only difference is the tail assembly. But for the head parts I dont think it will be an issue.
I will try to build the heli. check its parts for any flaws and see if it will require rebuild or thread lock. So far the HELI look okay. For the price of less than $100. I guess CPX has released a good heli.
THANKS to ehirobo.com and KY models for the following heli in review.
